Hey, I'm (Chen)thuran
I untangle complex enterprise systems, and help the people who use them find a simpler way through.
For over 10 years I've worked inside enterprise products — design systems, developer platforms, financial infrastructure. The brief usually arrives as "redesign this screen". It's usually not the screen. So I go and watch how the work actually gets done, build something rough to check what I've understood, and get specific about which problems are worth solving — and which ones to leave alone.

Selected Work
Platform over Library
How a prescriptive design system cut component assembly time from 20 minutes to under 5.
Developer-First Banking
How modular sandbox workspaces cut onboarding lead time 65%.
Architecture as Equity
How systems design is projected to cut loan approval time from 21 days to under 48 hours — not yet shipped, based on prototype testing.
What I do best
Design Systems & Platform Work
I build systems that settle the common decisions once, so nobody has to re-make them every sprint. Then the less glamorous half: getting people to actually reach for them, which is usually the harder problem.
Enterprise & Developer Tools
Internal tools get the leftovers — no research budget, no polish, a fifteen-step setup nobody wrote down. I like this work. Someone is using that tool all day, every day, and it's rarely anyone's job to make it better.
Complex Systems & Fintech
Lending flows built on distributed ledgers, processes held together by spreadsheets and workarounds. I map how the thing actually works — not how the documentation says it works — then find the version a normal person can follow.
AI & Agentic Design
I design AI tools that show their working. Producing an answer is the easy part now. The real design problem is helping someone tell when to trust it and when to go and check — and building tools that make checking easy.
Idea Godown
Side projects and hardware hacks — biometric gaming, hearables you'd actually wear as jewellery, narrative AI. Ideas I haven't built yet, and a couple I decided not to.
Pulse Adaptive Gaming
A plugin that reads your heart rate off a wristband and lets the game adjust its difficulty to match.
AirPods Earrings
One earbud core that magnets into different earring bodies — a drop, a hoop, a cuff. Change the piece, keep the electronics.
AI Creative Director
Upload a raw workout clip and get back a few ways to cut it, based on what's actually working in that niche.
Beyond BAU
Things I built because they were getting in my way, or the team's. Figma plugins, a research sprint, an AI assistant for our design system. Mostly nobody asked.
Comment Analyzer Plugin
A Figma plugin that reads design-review comments and sorts them into bugs, copy fixes and questions. Cut triage time 40%.
Team Personality Workshop
A workshop built on Surrounded by Idiots, run for 20 people, mapping how each of us prefers to be talked to. Critiques got easier afterwards.
